You can know everything about God—and still not love Him.
You can study scriptures.Attend lectures.Memorise philosophy.
But knowing about God is not the same as knowing Him through love.
You may do a PhD on mangoes.But unless you taste one—you still don’t know its sweetness.
That is the difference between knowledge and bhakti.
Knowledge tells you:“God is great.”
Bhakti makes you feel:“God is mine—and I am His.”
Knowledge can satisfy the mind.But love touches the heart.
Bhakti begins when religion becomes a relationship.
When chanting is no longer a duty—but remembrance.
When service is no longer an obligation—but an expression of love.
When we stop asking:
“What will I get from God?”and begin asking:“What can I give Him?”
That is bhakti.
And that is why bhakti is so special.
It does not merely teach us to understand God.
It teaches us to love Him.
And ultimately, the greatest happiness is not in knowing that God loves us.
